Where you live, and in what type of housing, play an important part in student life. For some students it is integral to their success in studies.
The university, therefore, has always aimed to provide the best possible range and standard of accommodation to meet the needs of our students. Halls of Residence are available to students at each campus - offering high-specification study bedrooms equipped to the latest standards. We can also help you find privately rented accommodation.
The university guarantees that all new students - both first-year undergraduates and direct entrants into other years - will be offered a place to live, either in a hall of residence or in university-approved housing.
The guarantee applies to any new full-time student entering at the start of the standard academic session in September and whose application is received by 17 August of that year. This guarantee does not, however, apply to students attending Partner Colleges.
Continuing Student Applications for 2012-2013
Students continuing on programmes of study with the university in the next academic session will be invited to apply for places in halls of residence early in 2012.

New Students Applying for Halls of Residence for 2012-2013
Use the on-line application form to apply for halls of residence if you are a new student starting a programme of study in September 2012 (for the 2012-2013 academic session).
The Application form and process will be available from April 2012.
