Where are the local shops and the nearest supermarket?

Avery Hill – there is a parade of local shops at the top of Avery Hill Road (10 minutes’ walk away) and a busy High Street shopping area in Eltham with a Sainsbury’s supermarket (20 minutes’ walk, 10 minutes by bus).

Greenwich – the centre of Greenwich has shops, restaurants a small Somerfield supermarket, M&S Simply Food etc. (10 minutes’ walk from Binnie Court, immediately local to both Cutty Sark Hall and Devonport House and 15 minutes’ walk from McMillan Student Village). Bigger supermarkets are short bus rides away; Sainsbury’s on the Greenwich peninsula, Tesco and Sainsbury’s in Lewisham or Sainsbury’s in New Cross.

Medway – There is a Co-op on the Dockyard, supermarkets in Gillingham but most shops and supermarkets are in Chatham town centre
