McMillan Student Village
This large hall of residence is situated on the border of Greenwich and Deptford half a milefrom the university’s Greenwich Campus. The complex has over 900 rooms and accommodates students from the University of Greenwich and other institutions. It is also the home of Bellerbys Language School.
The McMillan Student Village offers a range of different types of accommodation – from single student bedrooms (all with en-suite toilet/shower facilities) in shared, self-catering flats to self-contained studio apartments for one or two individuals, each with its own kitchenette.
There are two small supermarkets in close proximity to the hall and Deptford High street is a few minutes walk. The McMillan Student Village is located close to both mainline and DLR stations and buses stop directly outside the main entrance.
Hall fees vary depending on the type and size of the actual room (please consult the hall fee chart). Rooms are all wired to allow direct Internet access (a fee of around £85 is charged by the internet service provider and you will be able to sign up when you move in to the hall). A coin-operated launderette is available to students on site.
McMillan Student Village has a swipe card entry system and CCTV. There is 24hr staff coverage on site.
