Applications will be invited from full-time students of the university who are mature and are interested in serving the resident community of students in 2012-2013.
Successful candidates will be selected on the basis of their interest in the student community and their experience in a residential student (or other customer care) environment. Accommodation Services will be looking for awareness, sensitivity, discretion and an ability to work confidently without constant supervision in a variety of situations, some of which may require particular skills, quick thinking and a natural flair and authority. In return for the performance of "on call" duties as part of a team within a particular hall of residence, RAs receive accommodation in that hall free of charge.
