Getting to Avery Hill Campus by Public Transport

Bus
The bus routes listed below stop just outside the Campus on Avery Hill Road (for Southwood Site) or Bexley Road (for Mansion Site). There are numerous other buses that stop in Eltham High Street. The 286 provides a direct route from Greenwich Campus and the 132 a direct route from the Jubilee Line at North Greenwich. Catching a bus is normally the quickest way of getting to Campus from the train stations, though it can be walked.

- B15 (Mansion only) stops at Falconwood Station
- 132 (Mansion only) stops at Eltham Station
- 162 stops at New Eltham and Eltham Station
- 286 stops at Eltham Station
Trains
Rail
It is easy to get to Campus by train. The closest stations are New Eltham and Falconwood around a 12-15 minute walk away. Alternatively at peak times you can catch the university bus from Falconwood or the 162 bus at any time from New Eltham. There is also a short cut from New Eltham to Southwood Site taking around 12 minutes on foot.
Southeastern Trains provide direct services from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Waterloo East and London Bridge to Eltham, Falconwood and New Eltham (all located in travel zone 4). Trains are also available from Medway towns and take around 55 minutes, a change at Dartford is however usually necessary.

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)
Alight from the DLR at Cutty Sark in Greenwich and take the 286 bus (30-35 minutes to Campus). Alternatively catch the university bus from Greenwich Campus.
From Lewisham DLR Station change onto National Rail services to Falconwood or New Eltham (12 minutes).
London Underground (Tube)
The nearest tube station is at North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line. The 132 bus provides a direct link to Campus and takes around 30 minutes.
