Collaborative Provision
The University greatly values its engagement with diverse external partners, and is committed to the further development of its collaborative provision strategy and portfolio in response to changing local, regional and international contexts. The University's Collaborative Provision Strategy outlines the proposed direction of travel for the different parts of collaborative provisions and strategic plans for further strengthening its management over the next few years.
The University has three types of partnership. The first is with local and regional partners, comprising a Partner College Network (PCN) of nine FECs and two HEFCE-fundable specialist Colleges, plus four other publicly funded colleges outside the Partner College Network as well as partnerships with two HEIs, related to the Universities at Medway project. There is, in addition, the national Lifelong Learning Sector (LLS) Network of 23 publicly funded linked Colleges across the UK. Finally, there are 65 full-cost partnerships, 55 overseas and 10 in the UK.
