Peter Vlachos has over 15 years of practical experience in events and venue management both in the UK and North America. He has organised events at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Courtauld Institute and Cabot Hall, Canary Wharf. For 10 years prior to joining the University of Greenwich, Peter managed the historic Conway Hall, a busy, multi-purpose venue in Bloomsbury, central London which hosts the oldest continuously running series of classical chamber music in the world. Peter previously worked at the Wigmore Hall, London and the Roy Thomson Hall (home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra) in Canada. He has been an assessor for the London Arts Board (now Arts Council of England, London) and a visiting lecturer in the post-graduate department of cultural policy and management at City University, London.
