Undergraduate Placements
The Business School Placements Office is your one-stop shop providing a complete guidance package to meet the ever changing needs of the professional business workplace by helping undergraduates find suitable and beneficial placement opportunities. We work with a large number of well-established organisations and professional bodies to provide work experience and valuable industry insight.
Placements & Employment Experience
The Business School offers the sandwich (or industrial placement) option on the majority of it's undergraduate degrees, and is seen as an ideal way for students to obtain some valuable employment experience prior to venturing into the graduate job market. Our role, in the Business School Placements Office, is to support our students and employers by helping to facilitate the overall placement recruitment process.
On these pages you will find information on companies who have recruited placement students, advice on compiling a professional assessment portfolio (everything from building a CV to interview techniques) as well as details of events and workshop provided by the team.

Services Offered
We are dedicated to helping students assemble a successful employability portfolio. In order to acheive this, we run a series of workshops, events and drop-in sessions covering the following areas:

- Covering Letter
- Application Form
- Competency Based Questions
- Interview Techniques
- Mock Assessment Centre (via PPD sessions)
How to Register
In order to sign up for the placement scheme, please register online at Business School Placements.
Once registered, you will have access to various placement opportunities, available via the Moodle course. Additionally, you will receive regular e-mails detailing job bulletins and Placement Office notices, including events, workshops and guest presentations.
