Personal Profile
The role of Director of Resources engages Yana Tainsh in a myriad of activities and responsibilities ranging from resource management to financial administration for the whole school. Additionally Yana Tainsh is at the thesis stage of an EdD, currently working on a research into D/deaf communication in cyberspace. She has presented some of her research at both European and International Conferences and published papers in national journals and e-journals online. Recent work (Utilising WebCT as a collaborative participatory research tool to question the evvectiveness of Notetakers who support D/deaf University students) has been recognised internationally and will form the basis of further research in the D/deaf arena.Yana is to undertake collaborative work with European eLearning providers to enhance the learning and teaching within Initial Teacher Training in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
