BA (Hons) English and American Literature, PGCE (Post-compulsory education), MA in Education. Damien Page is also currently studying for a PhD on 'Change Management and Resistance in Further Education'.

Personal Profile

Damien Page has worked in the Lifelong Learning Sector for eight years. He began his career as a Lecturer of English in Further Education, teaching on Key 4 Learning, a pilot programme for fourteen year olds as well as on Access, A Levels and Literacy courses. He has been a manager in a number of contexts including E2E, humanities, finance and construction. In addition, Damien Page has focused on the development of e-learning, working as a consultant for the Learning and Skills Network, creating the Academy of e-Business and winning the JISC e-Learning Practitioner Award in 2005. Prior to joining the University of Greenwich he was Curriculum and Learning Manager for Linking London Lifelong Learning Manager, one of the largest LLNs in the country, forging links between FE colleges and Universities.

He is currently the Programme Leader for the Flexible Mode PGCE Lifelong Learning Sector and teaches on the MSc in Educational Management, the PGCE Lifelong Learning Sector and the Foundation Degree in Education and Training.

Damien Page's research interests include educational leadership and management, education policy and e-learning.
