Gender, Emotion, Work and Travel Conference
22nd & 23rd June 2007
This two day conference, 'Gender, Emotion, Work and Travel: Women Transport Workers and Passengers, Past and Present' brought together academics from a variety of backgrounds but all of whom had an interest in transport and female workers. This combination resulted in a very interesting and stimulating conference.
Thanks are extended to the Economic History Society who very generously supported some of the speakers/delegates in covering their expenses. Also thanks to all of the speakers and delegates who made the event a success.
