Zhonghui Maritime Education & Research Programme
The Greenwich Maritime Institute is delighted to announce that it has received a major donation from science journalist and engineer, Dr Zhonghui Luan. This very generous donation will help support the GMI Research Seminar Series, GMI research development and three GMI research students over a period of five years, 2010-2015.
Dr Luan has explained why she decided to make this donation. "I came from a poor family and had help with my education and I always felt that then I had the chance I would use my money to help education and train high quality young people so they can fulfil their dreams and contribute to society."
