MBA students should have an expectation of returning to industry with a career plan that leads to the achievement of their aspirations. They therefore need to explore their own strengths in relation to their aspirations and develop career management plans, supported by professional executive coaching. Personal and professional development is a continuous process and this course instills the skills of reflective practice and CPD. Students gain confidence in communication, presentation, research and business updating through attendance at ancillary seminars and by the organisation and delivery of a one-day conference at which they present on a current business topic. |
