Biography
Richard Blackburn obtained his BSc in Zoology, followed by Master’s degree in Reproductive Physiology, Embryology and Immunology, both at the University of Wales. Subsequently he completed a PhD in pathology of pregnancy at University of Sheffield. He started lecturing at the University of London, where he taught subjects including zoology, comparative anatomy, physiology and biology.
Eventually he moved on to the University of Greenwich, where again he taught a range of subjects including environmental health, research methodology, human physiology, clinical chemistry, human anatomy, toxicology and biomedical science. Currently he lectures in physiology, medicinal chemistry and therapeutics, pathology, forensic science, epidemiology and other health-related subjects.
