Biography
Lucie Pollard graduated with a BSc (Hons) Nutrition from King’s College, University of London in 1989. She subsequently completed a PhD and started to lecture at the University of Greenwich in 1998 and also took on the role of Programme Leader for the BSc Programme in Human Nutrition.
In 2003, Lucie became the School Director of Learning and Quality, overseeing the quality and standards of the academic portfolio both within the School and across its large collaborative provision. She held this post until August 2011 when she took on the role of Director of Resources.
Her teaching covers areas of health promotion, and public health nutrition. In particular Lucie is interested in the role of nutrition in the development and prevention of a number of diseases including cancer and coronary heart disease.
