DisabledGo Access Guide to the University
DisableGo access information for the University
In 2009, the Office of Student Affairs commissioned DisabledGo to produce an Access Guide to the University for display on their website DisabledGo.com.
The guide enables those with disabilities visiting or considering studying at the University to check accessibility beforehand. It could also influence a student’s choice of university or indeed, in the case of students considering postgraduate study, the course they choose.
As an example, a wheelchair user looking for suitable accommodation would select the Accommodation link on the right hand side to find which halls of residence are suitable for a wheelchair user with assistance.
When a user is viewing the information within each section, a further selection of the View Access Guide link gives detailed information about the facilities.
