University Prizes and Sporting Colours
The University of Greenwich has a long tradition of recognising and rewarding its students for outstanding achievement in both academic and non-academic fields. There are many different prizes available some of which are only open to students in specific schools and others which are open to final year students across the university.
Prizes range from a cash prize to an engraved bronze medal in recognition of outstanding achievement.
Students are nominated by their School and all prizes are awarded on an annual basis.
Sporting Colours
- Full Blue
Open to those who have represented at an International or National level - Blue
Open to those who have represented at a Regional level i.e. represented the South East division - Full Colour
Open to those who have consistently represented University teams throughout two seasons and have performed at a high standard or showed a constant commitment to their Club for two or more seasons - Half Colour
Open to those who have consistently represented at other than first team level throughout three seasons at a high standard - Club Colour
Open to those who have shown consistent commitment to their Club in other than a playing capacity i.e. committee member
