Wednesday Afternoon Policy
Agreed at Academic Council 2009
- All core courses taken by full-time undergraduate or sub-degree diploma students to cease at 12 noon on Wednesday unless the classes are also offered at another time during the week.
- Option courses for full-time undergraduate or sub-degree diploma students may be offered after 12 noon only where alternative optional course exists elsewhere in the week.
- No group tutorials for full-time undergraduate or sub-degree diploma students after 12 noon; personal tutorials by mutual agreement.
- Students involved in ‘away’ fixtures that require early departure should not be penalised for absence between 9am-12 noon.
- Courses that are specifically for part-time or postgraduate students, can be timetabled after 12 noon.
